ExpatZac is a blog about my adventures, both home and abroad. It was created after I decided to fully pursue teaching English in Korea in 2011, and my ultimate dream of writing and living abroad. The blog will be used to post my photos and random musings as I slowly meander across the globe.
And who am I? My name is Zac. I was born in Belgium when my father was stationed there for the United States Air Force. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to start traveling the world, and never stop. I am passionate about traveling abroad. The combination of being born in Europe, studying, and working in Italy just fanned the flame of this desire. I spent six years in university to get a master’s degree in history, but when I graduated I took a look at the poor prospects of finding a decent job stateside and decided that what I really needed was another adventure. That’s where this story begins. The future has yet to be written, but I am looking forward to every second of it, the good and the bad. I hope you enjoy!
Cheers,
ExpatZac
Hi Zac, You have a really interesting blog with some fabulous photos. Congratulations! If you are interesting in showing off your shots to a wider audience, we host a weekly travel photography competition in which we would love you to participate. Thank you! I will definitely start submitting some images for your weekly competition.
So good to see someone living their dreams. You only get one life. Well done!!
I am really glad that you are having amazing after college and grad school experiences. I know someday you will make it back to Europe. It’s a part of you. It always has been. I hope you don’t mind me commenting so much. There’s just so much to read and look at and I’ve finally sat down to do it. Plus, I know if I was writing a blog, I’d want people to comment on my posts. It shows that people are interested in what you are doing. You definitely need to post more often.
